Generalization in Political Ideology

Generalization leads to destructive governmentpolicies. For example an ethnic group or race may be disadvantaged. A policy based ongeneralization might discriminate in favor of the entire group. It is much better tosimply help out individuals who are disadvantaged regardless of the group they come from.Another example is if another country has policies with conflict with one's own countriesinterests. One's own country may go to war and as a result inflict harm on people wholived in the other country but had nothing to do with that countries policies. It would bemuch better to deal with the specific people responsible.
